Parent terms for the pilot.

A limited pilot

MindPlay is an early parent-led learning pilot for children ages 2–9. The current release includes a finite activity catalogue, parent-owned child profiles, child-specific progress, and in-app rewards. Features and content may change as the pilot is tested and reviewed.

The parent account

A parent or guardian creates the account, accepts these terms and the privacy notice, and remains responsible for the account and its child profiles. Account details and child-profile information should be kept accurate. Credentials should not be shared with a child or another person who is not authorised to manage the profiles.

During this pilot, signup does not verify ownership of the submitted email address. Email confirmation and password reset delivery are unavailable. Parents should use an address they control and keep the password available securely.

Child use stays parent-led

The parent chooses and manages each child profile and supervises the child's use of MindPlay. A child profile uses a nickname, age information, language, and optional interests selected by the parent. Children should not enter contact details or other identifying information into activity responses.

The pilot does not provide child chat, public profiles, public leaderboards, purchases in child play, behavioural ads, or third-party advertising trackers.

Learning and progress information

MindPlay records activity completion, answers, timing, scores for scored games, progress, and in-app rewards. These results summarize activity inside MindPlay. They are not clinical advice, diagnoses, intelligence or IQ scores, developmental assessments, or comparisons with other children.

Responsible use

Parents and guardians agree to use the pilot for its intended family use and to:

• Access only the parent account and child profiles they are authorised to use.
• Keep account credentials private and sign out on shared devices.
• Avoid interfering with the service, its security, or another family's data.
• Contact MindPlay if they notice unexpected account access or incorrect data.

Pilot availability

The pilot may be unavailable while its services are maintained or updated. Email recovery is not available, and the current release does not include every planned account-management feature. MindPlay may update the activity catalogue, scoring, progress presentation, and pilot access as testing continues.
